King Cole Flair Solo Chunky
Flair Solo Chunky is King Cole's answer to the big fluffy jumper you've been eyeing up in the shops, at a fraction of the price. It's a soft, airy chunky yarn with a generous mohair-style halo that blooms as you knit, giving your finished pieces that cosy, cloud-like look and feel. The blend of mohair, wool, acrylic and polyester keeps it light and warm without the weight, and it's a lot friendlier on the budget than a pure mohair.
It's quick to knit and forgiving of the odd wobble in your tension, so it's a great choice for a weekend jumper, a slouchy cardigan, an oversized scarf or a cosy hat. The halo softens stitch definition, which means simple stocking stitch or garter stitch shows it off best. Keep the cables for another yarn.
Each 100g ball gives you approximately 320m (350 yards), which goes a long way at chunky weight. Knit on 6mm (US 10) needles for a standard tension of 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10cm. Available in a range of solid shades to pair with, or stand apart from, the rest of the Flair family.
